In playful exploration of Truth, Love and Unfoldment

Something new
is breaking
through.

Not another version of the old. Something fresh and alive. Like a bud that can't stay closed any longer. You can feel it — under the patterns you repeat, under the conclusions that limit you. Something real is trying to break through.

The question is: do you want to let it transform you?

The Why

Let's nourish what unfolds from the heart of our being.

Most of us mistake our habits for who we are. We recycle old ways of feeling, reacting, and seeing — and call it living. But you notice. That's why you're here.

Utspring is Norwegian for the place where water breaks through. A wellspring. It also means the moment something new emerges. A bud breaking open. A beginning.

We use it to describe what happens when something authentic comes through you. Not a performance, not a repetition. Something inspired, fresh and real.

The wellspring is always here in you. In everyone — the life force that wants to create, connect, express itself through you. Mostly, we're in the way — blocking it with old stories, protective habits, and the need to control.

We can't force it to move. But we can stop holding it back. And we can create conditions where it happens more. Both in ourselves and in others. That's what Utspring is. A movement, a community, and a practice of nourishing the unique life that moves through each of us. In playful pursuit of Truth and Unfoldment.

By looking for Utspring in ourselves and others we help it emerge. This is how we nourish unfoldment. This is how a bud becomes a flower.

We're learning how to choose:
  • Grounded Presence over hierarchical games and people-pleasing.
  • Radical aliveness and creativity over "protective" patterns and "safe" repetition.
  • Connectedness over separation and distractions.
  • Whole-hearted participation over entertainment and consumption.
  • Honesty and truth over seeking confirmation or pretence.
What we do

We gather by water and fire in Norwegian nature.

We practice being more honest, more present and more alive. With ourselves, and each other. Here, we learn to move into deeper presence and connection with ourselves, the body, and our uniqueness. We meet ourselves exactly as we are — with kindness and courage — and explore playfully, melting limiting fear, testing our edges, trying on new ways of being.

By the fire, in the water, on the dance floor and in the sauna. We dance, we play, we build, we sing. We meet each other beyond our stories. And we discover what wants to emerge when we stop holding ourselves back. Sometimes it's uncomfortable. Sometimes it's the most joyful thing ever. Often it's both.

The Principles

What we practice together. Not perfectly. Just honestly. Not rules — more like tuning forks. We return to them on the cushion, in the sauna, around the fire.

1

Embrace Your Body

We experience life through the body. Feel your feet, your breath, your ass. A flower doesn't bloom by ignoring its roots.

2

Meet Yourself Here

You're welcome in all your humanness. No need to pretend or prove that you are further along. Everything real begins with honesty.

3

Field Awareness

We're making a symphony, not a solo. You're an organ in a larger body — the people, the land, the atmosphere between us.

4

Beyond Your Version

Most of us get stuck in how we see ourselves, others and the world. Listen for what you haven't heard yet. Seek truth, not confirmation.

5

Learn By Playing

You can only tune a string by playing it. So play, learn and tune from there. What is working? What is not? How can I adjust?

6

Creative Participation

We are all active creators. A sound, a question, a meal, a piece of wood for the fire, a held hand. In service beyond the self, we find purpose.

Developed in dialogue with IKYA. Some of these carry the influence of Peter Ralston and IKYA.

For you if…

You feel the pull toward something real.

  • Taking responsibility for your own process.
  • Depth and embodiment.
  • Growth and expansion — even when it's uncomfortable.
  • Community that supports real unfoldment, not just confirmation.
  • Discovering what's trying to emerge through you.
  • Direct experience beyond concepts and understanding.
Probably not, if…

You're looking for something softer.

  • To be fixed or saved by others.
  • A new comfortable bubble.
  • Escape or distraction.
  • Conclusions or beliefs to land on.
  • Entertainment without participation.
  • To convince others of your "truth."
  • To be told you're right.

Utspring Harvest

We had a wonderful Utspring Gathering — opening unfoldment. Let's do a second one, but this time with a new theme: Living Connectedness. True freedom is not really about standing on your own, apart from the world, in a "liberated" bubble...
