Something new is breaking through.
Not another version of the old. Something fresh and alive.

Like a bud that can’t stay closed any longer.

You can feel it. Under the patterns you repeat. Under the conclusions that limit you. Something real is trying to break through.

Most of us don’t notice. We mistake our habits for who we are. We recycle old ways of feeling, reacting, and seeing, and call it living.

But you notice. That’s why you’re here.

The question is: Do you want to let it transform you ?

In playful pursuit of
Truth and Unfoldment
Developed in dialog with IKYA (https://www.ikya.org)

We gather by water and fire in Norwegian nature.

We practice being more honest, more present and more alive. With ourselves, and each other.

Here, we learn to move into deeper presence and connection with ourselves, the body, and our uniqueness. We meet ourselves exactly as we are — with kindness and courage. And from there, we explore playfully, melting limiting fear, testing our edges and trying on new ways of being.

By the fire, in the water, on the dance floor and in the sauna.

We dance, we play, we build, we sing. We meet each other beyond our stories. And we discover what wants to emerge when we stop holding ourselves back.

Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. Sometimes it’s the most joyful thing ever. Often it’s both.

Let’s nourish what unfolds from the heart of our being

Utspring is Norwegian for the place where water breaks through. A wellspring. It also means the moment something new emerges. A bud breaking open. A beginning.

We use it to describe what happens when something authentic comes through you. Not a performance, not a repetition. Something inspired, fresh and real.

The wellspring is always here in you. In everyone. The life force that wants to create, connect, express itself through you. Mostly, we’re in the way — blocking it with old stories, protective habits, and the need to control.

We can’t force it to move. But we can stop holding it back. And we can create conditions where it happens more. Both in ourselves and in others.

That’s what Utspring is. A movement, a community, and a practice of nourishing the unique life that moves through each of us. In playful pursuit of Truth and Unfoldment.

HERE’S WHAT BLOCKS IT:
Judging yourself. Judging others. Trying to repeat what worked yesterday. Thinking it means something about you. Holding onto the moment instead of letting it complete and move on.

HERE’S WHAT HELPS IT:
Looking for beauty instead of seeing problems. Staying curious when you want to shut down. Listening for what is inspired and wants to move. Trusting what wants to move before you understand it.

By looking for Utspring in ourselves and others we help it emerge. This is how we nourish unfoldment. This is how a bud becomes a flower.

Utspring Gathering 2026

Four days by the water. A hundred people. No spectators. Everyone participates.

We gather by a lake in the Norwegian countryside. We dance, bathe, steam in the sauna, move, make art, do workshops, improvise new ways of being — and through it all, we discover parts of ourselves we didn’t even know we had. With a mixture of curated play and free play, we create room for both guided depth and open experimentation.

This is both indoors and outdoors. Bring your tent, your food and your willingness to be part of something. Drinking water is available. Grocery stores are nearby. You can reach us by public transport. Parking and camper space is available.

The build starts in the weeks before the gathering. Come early to help create the space, learn new skills, share meals, and get a prime camping spot. Co-creators go deeper — and that’s where the real magic tends to happen. Want to contribute something? A workshop, a practice, a performance, a skill? Get in touch. Maybe it fits right in.

Latest arrival is Friday at 18:00 so we can journey together.

You’re welcome as you are. No pretence needed.

THE PRINCIPLES

What we practice together. Not perfectly. Just honestly.

FEELING THE BODY

We experience life through the body. Feel your feet, your breath, your ass. A flower doesn’t bloom by ignoring it’s roots. This is where we feel alive. This is where we unfold for real.

BEGIN WHERE YOU ARE

You’re welcome in all your humanness. No need to pretend or prove that you are further along. Before we go anywhere, we have to embrace everything as it is. Everything real begins with honesty.

FIELD AWARENESS

We’re making a symphony, not a solo. You’re an organ in a larger body. The people around you, the land, the atmosphere between us. Feeling more of the whole is essential for creating something beautiful together.

BEYOND YOUR VERSION

in order to explore for real, we have to go beyond what we think we know. Most of us get stuck in how we see ourselves, others and the world. But what’s beyond your first judgement? Listen for what you haven’t heard yet. Seek truth, not confirmation. Feel what’s here when you stop insisting on your conclusions. That’s when the real fun begins.

TUNE BY PLAYING

What happens if you stop holding yourself back? Where is life inviting you to play? Just try things and have fun with it. There is no such thing as failure. You can only tune a string by playing it. So play, learn and tune from there. Ask yourself: What is working and what is not? How can I adjust to play more in harmony with greater symphony of life?

CREATIVE PARTICIPATION

We are all active creators, and we all have a part to play. Listen for where you can be in service to life. Where is your uniqueness being called right now? It could be many things, including a sound , a question, a meal, a piece of wood for the fire, a held hand. And sometimes it’s something completely new, even to you. In service beyond the self, we can find our purpose in every moment.

This is for you if you feel the pull toward:

  • Taking responsibility for your own process
  • Depth AND embodiment
  • Growth and expansion, even if it’s sometimes uncomfortable.
  • Community that supports real unfoldment, not just confirmation.
  • Discovering what’s trying to emerge through you and exploring your uniqueness in the co-creation of life.
  • Direct experience beyond concepts and understanding

This probably is not for you if you want:

  • To be fixed or saved by others
  • A new comfortable bubble
  • Escape or distraction
  • Entertainment without participation
  • To convince others of your “truth”
  • To be told you’re right

Building Utspring

Date: 22-24 May

Location: Nord-Odal

This weekend we’re building the foundation for Utspring. Literally and figuratively. We are creating the foundation for our dome with rocks from the shore. And we will also enjoy dance, art, sauna and other activities to activate Utspring in us.

Utspring Gathering

Date: 1-5 July

Location: Nord-Odal

At the gathering, we plants seeds that keep growing. The connections we make become a mycelium network – something living that continues to nourish and expand long after we leave the lakeside. Who knows what mushrooms will grow from it!
