The spring doesn’t ask permission. It just flows. Fresh, new, never the same twice.

This is what we mean by Utspring. That moment when something authentic breaks through you. When you stop performing and start being. When the real thing emerges, raw and alive.

With inspiration from IKYA (https://www.ikya.org)

The spring is always there.

Will you let it through?

A transformative movement of co-created events, life-affirming daily practice, and community. In everything we do, we open up to Utspring, where something new emerges from the source of creation – washing away stagnation and nourishing/unfolding potential

You know these moments. When you’re fully present and something flows through you that you didn’t plan or control. A truth you didn’t rehearse. A movement you didn’t choreograph. An expression that’s purely, uniquely you.

That’s utspring. It’s always there, trying to break through. Mostly, we’re in the way.

Here’s what stops it:

Judging yourself. Judging others. Trying to repeat what worked yesterday. Claiming credit for what moves through you to get confirmation. Holding onto the moment instead of letting it complete and move on.

Here’s what allows it:

Seeing beauty instead of looking for problems. Staying present instead of performing. Being a channel instead of a person.

The practice we’re learning:

Look for utspring in yourself – not who you think you should be, but what’s actually trying to emerge right now.

Look for utspring in others – not their masks or their mistakes, but the beauty trying to break through.

When you see it, you help it emerge. This isn’t metaphor. Your seeing actually nourishes their unfoldment directly. And their seeing nourishes yours.

We are all beautiful. Not because we’re perfect or evolved. But because life is flowing through us, trying to express something that’s never been expressed before.

There’s nothing to judge. Just endless unfoldment to witness and support.

It can seem paradoxical, but the experience is simple. You can’t make utspring happen. But you can stop blocking it. You can’t take credit for it. But you’re responsible for nourishing it. It’s not about you. But it needs you.

And here’s what we’re discovering:

When you bring this practice into your life – into conversations, relationships, work, art, everything – you activate more potential. Not because you’re so important, but because you’re not blocking Life.

The spring doesn’t need your permission. It just needs you to stop repressing it.

This is what we want to practice in the Utspring Community and it the main focus of The Utspring Gathering

So: What are you blocking? What beauty are you missing because you’re busy judging? What would happen if you let yesterday’s water go and opened to what wants to flow now?

THE PRINCIPLES

When we practice these together, we create space where something real can emerge. Not perfectly. Just honestly.

GROUNDED OPENNESS

Staying present and connected to ourselves, others and the environment. Meeting more of what’s actually here, not just our own projections. Letting go of beliefs and conclusions, and exploring reality with childlike curiosity.

Inspired by Peter Ralston

FULL SPECTRUM ALIVENESS

Feel fully, flow freely and dare to express. Letting go of protective masks, shame and blame. Trusting that it’s safe to be you and play your uniqueness from the heart.

SELF-OWNERSHIP

Owning our feelings and responses instead of blaming others. Taking responsibility for our own process and asking for support instead of expecting or demanding rescue.

PARTICIPATION IN CO-CREATION

Discover the joy of contributing your unique spark to the collective flame. Everything you do makes a difference. We can heal our wounds of false insignificance by co-creating from the Heart of our Being.

CONSENT

Communicating our boundaries, desires and needs and honoring those of others. Remember, a genuine “yes” is enthusiastic, clear and freely given. Silence or uncertainty means pause and clarify.

ECO-SYSTEM AWARENESS

We are all connected–to each other, nature, and the energetic field we co-create. Let’s tend to it with care, and consider our impact on the whole.

In everything we do, we open up to Utspring. That blooming of life when something authentic breaks through you. When you stop performing and start being. When the real thing emerges, raw and alive.

This gathering resonates with people who:

  • Are ready to take responsibility for their own process
  • Value both depth AND embodiment
  • Are willing to be uncomfortable in service of growth and expansion
  • Want community that supports real unfoldment
  • Sense that something authentic is trying to emerge through them

This probably isn’t for you if you’re seeking:

  • To be fixed or saved by others
  • Another comfort zone
  • Escape or distraction
  • Simple answers to complex questions
  • Entertainment without participation

Utspring Gathering

Date: First week in July

Location: Nord-Odal

At the gathering, we plants seeds that keep growing. The connections we make become a mycelium network – something living that continues to nourish and expand long after we leave the lakeside. Who knows what mushrooms will grow from it!
